Wear Japanese Yukata At Japan Day in Central Park

Japan Day at Central Park is happening on May 13th this year. It's a great chance to go out enjoy the weather and wear Japanese yukata! Yukatas are ideal for wearing at festivals and are very comfortable for the warmer weather. We carry everything you would need for wearing a yukata out for men, women, and children. Many sizes are available including plus size. If you do not know how to properly wear one we can show you how to upon completing your purchase. What to do with that yukata after Japan Day? Well you can wear out to other festivals and events during the spring and summer. You can also wear it at home as a bathrobe. There are many uses for your yukata. Remember Japan Day at Central Park is only a week away so do not wait too long to get a yukata if you want to join in on the fun. Kimono House store hours are 11AM to 7PM Mondays through Saturdays. Mitsuwa Summer Festival & Liberty City Anime Con

The Mitsuwa Summer Festival is quickly approaching so its time to enjoy the festivities in your favorite yukata. We have plenty of yukatas for men, women, and children. For more casual style you can wear a jinbei. Jinbei are also available for children. Happi jackets are also available for drum performers and festival attendees. Happi jackets are great for summer festivals and can be worn over anything. Wear Yukata Kimono To The Mitsuwa Summer Festival

This year on August 13, the Mitsuwa Marketplace will be hosting their annual Japanese summer festival. There will be a variety of food and events to enjoy. It's also a great chance to go out in yukata! Yukatas are kimonos made out of fine cotton which makes it comfortable and easy to wear outdoors in the summer heat. We also carry japanese shoes, getas, fans and other accessories that will complete your perfect summer look. We have a large selection of designs and sizes to choose from for men, women, and children, so the whole family can wear one!   Not sure how to put one on? No problem! We provide dressing services by appointment, where we do all the dressing work for you.  If you would rather learn how to dress kimono by yourself, a dressing lesson can be scheduled as well.  Dressing appointments fill up rapidly so please schedule well in advance.
